Mrs. Shawn Sand

This is my first year at St. Lawrence and I love being a part of this community. I previously taught first and second grade. This is my 5th year teaching, after taking many years off to stay home with my children. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, both from the University of Cincinnati.

I live on the westside with my family. My children are 19, 17, 15, 12, and 10 years old and attend the Archdiocese schools as well. When I’m not working, I volunteer working concessions at the Reds, Xavier, and Elder games with an organization that donates money for tuition at my childrens’ schools. I also enjoy running around everywhere with my kids, listening to books if I’m ever alone in my car, and trying to exercise when possible.
